For this reason, email, disk, fax, or mail orders are not accepted for our Full Color+Foil business cards.

UV Coating
UV Coating is applied to the foil (coated) side of all Full Color+Foil business cards printed on 12pt C1S and both sides of 16pt C2S.
If you prefer your order without UV Coating, choose Raglan or 110# Classic Crest. UV coating cannot be applied to these two stocks.

Document: 600 dpi (minimum)
Embedded Graphics: 600 dpi (minimum)

CMYK/RGB
Recommended color space is CMYK; however we will accept RGB.
Fonts
All fonts must be embedded or converted to curves, paths, or outlines.
Typesizes smaller than 8 point are not recommended for foil stamping. Small Scripts and fonts with fine lines will tend to lose detail.

For best results:
• Use one of these programs to create your order:
Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, or Quark Xpress
• Embed or convert all copy to outlines, curves, or paths.
• Export, save, or print to PDF using Adobe Acrobat Distiller.
We require an editable PDF to print files at our full color press.
File type is limited to PDF, PS or EPS to maintain the integrity of the file, registration and quality. (EPS and PS files are converted to PDF during the upload process and usually offer satisfactory results.)
Native files will be accepted through the Upload site for Full Color+Foil business cards for an additional charge. Fonts and any associated graphics may be required to complete the order. Use WinZip for Windows OS or Stuffit for Mac OS.

File Specifications for foil portion on full color
• Indicate object(s) to print in foil in the additional instructions of the Upload process.
• Create & place an editable object as an overprint on the file (preferably 100% black.) No knock-outs.
(Note: foil dimensions are limited to approximately ¾” on solid foil pieces for quality purposes. Refer to Full Color+Foil Guidelines for more information.

Second Side Printing:
Foil stamping must be applied to the coated side of C1S. One side only of C2S, Raglan and 130# Classic Crest Super Smooth can be foil stamped. Submit your file with the Full Color+Foil side as page 1.
Vertical Cards:
Vertical layouts must be rotated to landscape format in the native program before they are saved/converted to PDF, PS or EPS. If they are not, copy may be cropped off.
